Start with your installation country, product, throughput and factory layout. We will review the ordered equipment and interfaces with your team so the mechanical, electrical and site requirements can be agreed before installation.
From initial scope to production
- Define the equipment: agree the product, capacity target, automation, accessories and interfaces in the signed project scope.
- Plan delivery: confirm shipping arrangements, destination, documentation responsibilities, bill-of-lading dimensions, unloading equipment and the route into the building.
- Prepare the facility: coordinate qualified local contractors for electrical supply, gas, water, air, drainage, ventilation and fire protection. Confirm local permits and approvals.
- Confirm readiness: resolve open installation items and agree commissioning dates, trade labor, test product, frying oil, language needs and operating personnel.
- Commission and train: JDM provides installation supervision and commissioning with customer-provided trade labor unless the signed scope expressly includes it. Agree acceptance criteria and operator/maintenance training.
Fryer oil-handling comparison
| Planning parameter | JD325CXI reference | JD600 reference |
|---|---|---|
| Operating oil volume | 300 US gal / 1,140 L | 500 US gal / 1,890 L |
| Recommended minimum usable oil-tank capacity | 375 US gal / 1,420 L | 625 US gal / 2,370 L |
| JD oil-tank capacity | 420 US gal / 1,590 L | 700 US gal / 2,650 L |
| Oil-tank plumbing and connections | Same requirements as JD600 | Same requirements as JD325 |
Utility planning reference
| Service | Revision AG planning reference |
|---|---|
| Electrical service | Typically 60 A, three-phase for the fry line; voltage, frequency and included equipment are project-specific. Confirm whether the optional remote blower skid is included in that total. |
| Burner input | Reference combined maximum: 3.8 MMBtu/h (1,100 kW); operating case: 2.4 MMBtu/h (700 kW). Confirm the ordered burner configuration. |
| Fuel-gas supply | 20–50 in. w.c. (5.0–12.5 kPa gauge) at the fryer inlet at required flow. The reference burner-head operating pressure is separately specified as 18 in. w.c. (4.5 kPa gauge). |
| Compressed air for valve actuation | Average <1 ACFM (28 actual L/min) at 100 psig (6.9 barg), ISO 8573-1 [7:4:4] or cleaner. Air volume is at line pressure; this is not a food-contact air specification. |
| Filling and cleaning water | Recommended 30 US gpm (110 L/min) at 60 psig (4.1 barg); cold potable water. |
| Demister CIP, when fitted | 8 US gpm (30 L/min) at 40 psig (2.8 barg), for sanitation. |
| Demister scrubber, when fitted | 50 US gal/h (190 L/h) at 40 psig (2.8 barg), while burners fire. |
| Hood exhaust | 4,000 cfm (6,800 m³/h), with the hood fully lowered for production and cleaning. Combined steam-system backpressure: maximum 2 in. w.c. (500 Pa). |
| Oil transfer with a JD tank | Viking AS495 internal gear pump with 2 hp (1.5 kW) motor. Actual flow, head and suction duty require project verification. |
Planning basis: JDM Fryer Preinstallation Checklist, Revision AG, 1 November 2026. The approved project drawings and signed scope define the ordered equipment, final utility requirements and responsibilities.
Support after commissioning
Revision AG specifies five years of remote support, subject to the signed scope and applicable programming, service and travel terms. Wired internet at the control panel and customer IT approval are coordinated for the supplied Phoenix Contact VPN. Customer personnel participate in controlled remote testing.
Use equipment support resources for manuals and replacement-part information. Ask JDM for the current project-specific pre-installation checklist and applicable documentation.
Confirm these items in your quote
